UPside Down Hierarchy
Just a thought for today’s post ….
We recognize that leadership is vastly more desirable and influential than management…
…therefore to lead is better than to manage.
Why, then do many organizations have their deemed leaders (shift leaders, team leaders, floor leaders) …
…in lower levels of the organization than their deemed managers (store managers, plant managers, district managers)?
Are organizations negligent to recognize there is change of leadership style and hierarchy afoot? Or are they unwilling to change from an outmoded mindset?
Just a thought. Would love to hear yours on the subject!
